Stand-Alone Personal Finance Standards

No

There are not stand-alone standards for personal financial literacy, but rather embedded standards within the following curriculum areas: Economics, Family and Consumer Sciences, Career, Education and Work, and Business, Computer, and Information Technology.  The state legislature created a task force on financial literacy. Every two years the task force makes recommendations to the governor and general assembly regarding legislative or regulatory changes to improve economic education/financial literacy.
